Ryan Raddon, better known as the house DJ Kaskade, is a rare commodity in today's electronic music scene. While still considered one of the hottest and most talented DJs in the US, the Mormon artist prefers tour dates free of the traditional drug riddled, sex driven antics that often accompany the good time he provides. This is especially difficult, given that he is constantly playing tour dates in Las Vegas and has a regular poolside gig at the Encore Beach Club that is known as "Kaskade Sundays." For those not visiting Las Vegas anytime soon, Kaskade can be found on numerous tour dates in 2011 around the world; including a US tour schedule throughout August.

Ryan Raddon began spinning in college, before moving to San Francisco to work as an A&R assistant at Om Records. His employers were impressed with his talent and allowed him to release the single, "What I Say," in 2001. Kaskade scored big with his second album, In the Moment, in 2004, with the singles "Steppin' Out" and "Everything" reaching the top 10 of Billboard Magazine's Hot Dance Club Play chart. The album set a precedent for Kaskade, as he began adding the "humanity" back to dance music by using live musicians for his tracks. The 2008 album, Strobelite Seduction, began a working relationship with Deadmau5, who produced and was featured on some of the album's tracks. The follow-up to that album and Kaskade's latest release, Dynasty, has become his biggest hit yet by reaching #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and receiving great reviews from critics.

Kaskade has many tour dates in 2011 and will be spending the first half of July in Las Vegas. Throughout August and September, Kaskade will be headlining tour dates as a part of the IDentity Festival, which will bring electronic music to 20 cities around the US. Kaskade has been named America’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year’s Coachella, for which he has a special performance planned, and will hit the road in May for his biggest headlining tour ever — 50-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade’s belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice – which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart.
